So Looking forward to spring-- from our office to you and your family!

I have been a licensed agent for State Farm since 1984, proudly serving the community in Cornelius, Oregon. With over 50 years of experience at State Farm Insurance Company, I am approaching my next milestone of 50 years as a licensed agent.

My family is the joy of my life, consisting of two daughters—both licensed agents—as well as two grandchildren and a new great-grandchild who affectionately calls me "Great Nana."

I have a passion for my home and my rose garden. Both my home and office are adorned with my beloved collection of bunnies, which I have accumulated over the years due to my name. This collection features items from around the world and is too extensive to count!

In my office, I am supported by a dedicated team of three full-time staff members, two of whom are licensed agents. One of my team members is bilingual and speaks Spanish, enabling us to better serve our diverse community.

My heritage is a source of pride for me. My grandfather homesteaded in North Dakota from Sweden in 1898, and his farm remains in the family today. The values instilled in me during my early years on the farm have greatly shaped who I am.

Music has been a significant part of my life since the age of six, when I began playing the piano and performing solos, primarily in church. One of my favorite hobbies is attending theater productions, live concerts, and simply listening to music.

I am actively involved in several community initiatives, including local schools, Habitat for Humanity, Imagine Possibilities, the Edwards Center, and the Optimist Club. For 25 years, I had the honor of being the Cornelius Easter Bunny, distributing candy and taking photos every Saturday before Easter.

We also support community events sponsored by our local Police and Fire Departments. I have served in various roles within the Cornelius Chamber of Commerce since July 1, 1984, until it became a joint chamber with the City of Forest Grove. During my time there, I chaired two successful auctions at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Course and led the organization of the Blueberry Festival for several years.
